GLOBAL SCHOOLS (KÜRESEL OKULLAR ETKİKETİ)

Üyesi olduğumuz Global Schools Programı aracılığıyla, lisemizin; öğrencilerini yalnızca yerel değil, aynı zamanda uluslararası ölçekte düşünebilen, küresel gelişmeleri yakından takip eden ve dünya ile etkin biçimde etkileşim kurabilen bireyler olarak yetiştirme vizyonunu güçlendirmekteyiz. Bu üyelik, okulumuzun uluslararası düzeyde tanınan Global Schools etiketiyle belgelendiğini ve küresel eğitim standartlarını benimsediğini göstermektedir.

Bu anlayış doğrultusunda öğrencilerimiz, küresel sorunları araştırma, farklı bakış açılarını değerlendirme ve sürdürülebilir hedeflere çözüm önerileri geliştirme fırsatı bulur. Okulumuzun katılım sağladığı WAC (World Affairs Challenge) yarışması, bu sürecin en önemli bileşenlerinden biridir. WAC, öğrencilerimizin dünya gündemine yönelik farkındalık kazanmalarını sağlarken; aynı zamanda araştırma, iş birliği ve etkili iletişim becerilerini geliştirmelerine katkıda bulunur.

2025 yılında, plastik şişe kullanımını okulumuzda ve çevremizde azaltmaya yönelik yürüttüğümüz çalışmalarla WAC kapsamında liseler arasında dünya dördüncülüğü elde ederek önemli bir başarıya imza attık.

Global Schools çatısı altında, öğrencilerimiz yalnızca dünyayı takip eden değil; dünyayı anlayan, dönüştüren ve geleceğe yön veren bireyler olarak yetişmektedir.

GLOBAL SCHOOLS

Through our membership in the Global Schools Program, we strengthen our high school’s vision of educating students who are not only locally aware but also capable of thinking on an international scale, closely following global developments, and actively engaging with the world. This membership demonstrates that our school is officially recognized with the internationally acknowledged Global Schools label and embraces global educational standards.

In line with this approach, our students are given the opportunity to explore global issues, evaluate diverse perspectives, and develop solution-oriented ideas aligned with sustainable goals. One of the most significant components of this process is our school’s participation in the World Affairs Challenge (WAC) competition. WAC enhances our students’ awareness of global affairs while also contributing to the development of their research, collaboration, and effective communication skills.

In 2025, through our initiatives aimed at reducing plastic bottle usage within our school and the surrounding community, we achieved a remarkable success by placing fourth worldwide among high schools within the scope of WAC.

Under the Global Schools framework, our students are educated not only as individuals who follow the world, but as those who understand it, transform it, and shape the future.
